After being the world’s first automotive producer to introduce LED daytime running lights in 2004, Audi has continued to lead the industry with the production of further revolutionary lighting systems in 2013 and 2014: the Matrix LED headlights and laser high beam. Lighting technology and lighting design of the future is based on three key guiding principles: aesthetics, dynamics and interaction.

The exhibition is inspired by the LED technology and innovative design synonymous with the Audi brand. Combined with Matthew's interest in sacred and ancient geometry, alchemy, and physics, Schreiber uses optical physics as they relate to "zone plates, refraction and interference patterns" found in optics. Coupled with the physical interior structure and geometry of the CORE Club lobby, Schreiber has created a new environment that is immersive with light and his own geometry.

Utilizing intricate and intelligent architectural design to erase the existing space, Schreiber has created three installations. The space is comprised of high intensity LED technology and over 400 individual diode lasers, with 200 of the lasers using custom made optics. Each of the 400 lasers have been modified and built specifically for the installation by hand in Schreiber’s studio.
