About The Wines

Alessio 2015
Alessio, with its Bordeaux blend style, draws its power from the vines of both our Tench and Sugarloaf Mountain vineyards, a marriage of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc that yields a bold and delicious wine with a hint of rich, mellow chocolate in its intense flavor. This approachable wine will also mature gracefully, revealing new layers of nuance and complexity over time.

Veena 2016
Veena is our Sauvignon Blanc, pronounced “sunshine is a glass” by our winemaker Russell Bevan. Veena is a delightful wine with evocative aromas and a “big push” of tropical, citrus and stone fruit flavors rather than the grassy grapefruit profile typical of sauvignon blanc. A crisp, clean acidity pairs beautifully with cheese, fish and other light foods.

Armaan 2016
This powerhouse Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from the famed Tench Vineyard in the heart of Oakville. This wine displays the depth and intensity for which this site is known. While still the smallest of the PerUs production, this is by far the most robust wine in our family of wines.

Alessio 2016
This flamboyant combination of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon once again displays Russell Bevan's genius in blending. A nod to the original vintage of PerUs, this wine reveals the continued love affair between Sugar Loaf Mountain's Bordeaux varietals and Tench Vineyard's Cabernet Sauvignon. Combining these two epic vineyard sites once again display that sometimes the sum is truly greater than its parts.

Janeen 2016
The most refined of the 2016 PerUs wines, this wine displays the purity that can be achieved from high elevation vineyards. Crafted mostly from a vineyard atop Atlas Peak in Napa's Eastern mountain range, this wine dances on the palate with high tones and amazing acidity. The 90% Cabernet Sauvignon is buttressed by 10% Cabernet Franc from Sugar Loaf Mountain resulting in a wine with perfect balance and a finish that begs from another glass.
