Special Screening of STELLA’S LAST WEEKEND -

Plus a discussion with actress and director Polly Draper

Filmmaker and actress Polly Draper has been paving the way for females in the industry for decades. She wrote, directed, and stars in her next film—Stella's Last Weekend—in select theaters October 12. View the trailer here.

Known to many as the Emmy-nominated star of Thirtysomething, the popular TV drama of the 80s, Draper went on to write, direct, and produce Nickelodeon's The Naked Brothers Band, starring her two sons, Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff. The series became one of the most successful ever on Nickelodeon. In similar fashion, Stella's Last Weekend stars her two sons, who have made their own successful careers since the success of Naked Brothers. After the series wrapped, Draper kept busy, working on Broadway and off-Broadway, writing scripts, and appearing in films such as Obvious Child and Side Effects.

Stella's Last Weekend is a sweet family story about brothers Jack (Nat) and Oliver (Alex) who reunite at their childhood home to put their beloved dog, Stella, to sleep. While their unconventional mother (Draper) plans an extravagant party in celebration of Stella's life, Jack and Oliver discover they are both in love with the same girl.

Currently, Draper resides in New York with her husband, her two sons, and their adopted dog, Stella (also featured in the movie!).The event will include a screening of the film, followed by an in-person interview of Polly Draper.
